Good Things – June 2024

Posted on July 16, 2024 by andrew

I am writing this post much later than I should be! I am going to aim to get July done much sooner as I find it good for me to reflect on the month that has passed and realise so many good things have happened.

  • Ran a three-week cookery course for the Scouts. It was hard work but really good fun.
  • Had a board games weekend with my cousins. We played a lot of Journeys in Middle Earth and tried a lot of different sherries!
  • I ran lights, projection, and SFX for OnStageNow’s production of High School Musical. I learned a lot about Qlab.
  • Spent an excellent week on the Isle of Wight for the Year 6 School Residential. The weather was perfect and it was one of the best year groups we have ever taken away.
  • Went to Hamlet at ‘Shakespeare at the George‘ which was one of their last performances as they are having to move venue in future. A great performance in a very special location.
