Todo list apps are a source of frustration to me; there are so many beautiful and amazingly designed apps out there, but they often overcomplicate things and make a simple list harder than it needs to be.
A few years ago, I started using Tweek (https://tweek.so/) to keep track of jobs that need doing at work, and it works really well. The nature of my job often means I need to keep track of different types of tasks over the course of the week and move things around when something new comes up. Tweek allows me to do this easily.
Tweek shows you a simple breakdown of the week and the tasks assigned each day. There is also a “someday” and some other non-time-based sections that can be customised. Its beauty is that it shows you the whole week and allows you to easily click and add to each day without complex date and time settings. You can also allow it to automatically move tasks from one day to the next if you haven’t completed them.
The basic app is free and if i am honest is probably enough for most people. The premium version adds reoccurring tasks and features that would be more useful for advanced project management, such as sub-tasks.
